In the name of "National Security"

It's finally happening. The government admits, however reluctantly, that it has been seeking personal information on citizens. Or at least their travel information.
Where people are going, with whom they're traveling with, what they're carrying with them. Even the books they're reading for goodness sakes!
This really sickens me. It's all to help "capture the terrorists". How long are American citizens going to let their liberties, rights, and freedoms slip away, all in the name of a little security.
And I thought the Patriot Act was bad enough.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised though. I suppose I knew this would happen all along. I just hope that Americans will get the guts to step up and put their foot down and say "This is crossing the line".

September 11th Tribute

I would like to start off by dedicating this to all those who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001. And also to their families, friends, co-workers, and others who suffered on that terrible day.
May we never forget.
